'Here is a good example of what I describe as 'energy leak' which I have
come to accept as a recurring anomaly in crop circles. Seen on the edges
of tramlines and most often in crop less ripened and retarded in growth
due most probably to tractor traffic, the green stems remain standing in
an otherwise laid down area. It's almost as if the energy that effects
the laying process is somehow disengaged momentarily due perhaps to
moisture differentials. Another theory would be 'mass' differential as
the tramline void is less dense than the laid crop. A useful observation
in the absence of node bending later in the season.'
