Was Quetzalcoatl the crop artist at West Kennett Long
Barrow on August 13, 2013? Some remarkable details of that amazing
crop picture!
There have been many Mayan-style crop pictures in England or
elsewhere in recent years. Several of those crop pictures showed an
end-date for the Mayan Long Count calendar of December 21 or 23,
2012 (see
time2011m or
time2007c or
Crop-circle-shows-orbital-locations-of-planets-on-December-23-2012
or
Santena 2012). Other crop pictures have shown three traditional
symbols for the legendary Mayan leader Quetzalcoatl as his
“feathered serpent”, “Venus” or “jester’s hat” motifs (see
what-do-modern-crop-circles-mean or
crop circle meanings or
time2007k or
time2007e).
An important culmination of all these Mayan-style crop pictures came
on July 5, 2009, when a magnificent “Quetzalcoatl headdress”
appeared in crops near Silbury Hill. It showed many ancient Mayan
symbols, including a clever “stela” which told dates from 33 BC to
191 AD when Quetzalcoatl seemingly ruled as a king in ancient
central America (see
time2010f or
www.youtube.com).
It was with some interest, therefore, that we again saw
symbols for Quetzalcoatl appear in the new “triangular UFO”
crop picture at West Kennett Long Barrow on August 13, 2013 (see
www.youtube.com):

The very center of this new crop picture resembles his famous
“quetzal feathered headdress”. On each side of the center we can see
six wedge-like segments. Those nearly match the seven-plus-seven
“quetzal feathers” drawn in crops near Silbury Hill on July 5, 2009.
Two “broad arrows” appear once again, as does a “lunar crescent”
which has been turned upside down from before.
Close-up ground photographs reveal six nearly identical wedges of
crop on each side of the centre. One of those wedges has been split
lengthwise into two parts to make “seven”. A small standing tuft has
been placed close to where the final “wedge” has been finely split.
That “split” wedge lines up perfectly with a large, offset “lunar
crescent” (see
groundshots):

Another ground image of the same detailed feature is shown below,
from a different perspective:

The entire offset feature points toward nearby West Kennett Long
Barrow, while its large “triangular UFO” points slightly to one side
(see the second photo down on
west kennett longbarrow 2013l):

This is very curious indeed, and so far beyond local human
crop-circle-making skills as to be laughable. The overall
precision of this new crop picture, when laid down in the
field relative to certain landscape features (West Kennett Long
Barrow or Silbury Hill), seems remarkable. One of its triangular
faces also points to Silbury Hill in the distance (see the third
photo down on
west kennett longbarrow 2013).
Those six-plus-seven wedges could represent 6 + 7 = 13 baktuns from
the new Mayan Long Count calendar which began on December 22 or 24,
2012. Alternatively, they could represent the “12th month” of some
calendar year, for example December of 2013.
A similar motif with a “lunar crescent”, two “broad arrows” and
“wedges” has been drawn in crops twice before (see the third slide
down on
comments). At Wayland’s Smithy on August 9, 2005, we saw 2 x 8 =
16 wedges used to represent a binary-hexadecimal code
for comet Holmes in 2007 (see
www.lucypringle.co.uk or
time2007g or
time2007h). At East Kennett on July 22, 2011, we saw 17 wedges
used to represent the number of months left until a
Mayan Long Count calendar would end on December 21 or 23, 2012 (see
www.youtube.com). Thus the “number of wedges” in its most recent
use symbolized “months”.
Finally as a humorous feature, the crop artist has drawn an image of
himself “upside down”, to match an upside “lunar crescent” relative
to before in 2009! Various parts of the new crop picture seem to
represent his “eyes, nose or beard”:

Who was Quetzalcoatl, and why might he be important to us today?
Hundreds of north or south American legends tell of a white-skinned,
bearded man who traveled among different tribes to bring peace 2000
years ago. This spiritual hero was best known as “Quetzalcoatl”.
Some of his other names were “Kate-Zahl” (Toltec) or “Kulkulkan”
(Maya). All of these various names mean “bird-serpent” in the local
language, after the quetzal bird and a coatl snake.
In Book X of his History, Fray Bernardino de Sahagun
describes the departure of certain wise men who had been the priests
of Quetzalcoatl at Teotihuacan: "When they departed the wise men
said: ‘Our lord, the protector of all, says you shall remain. He
goes, leaving you this land. Our lord goes away, and we will go with
him. Yet he will come again to do his duty. When the world becomes
oppressed, he will come to bring it to an end’ " (see
www.rexresearch.com).
Our best known likeness of Quetzalcoatl comes from La Venta Stela 19
around 100 AD. This small sculpture seems to show a European-looking
man wearing a space helmet, and piloting a “flying snake” or
“feathered serpent” (see
en.m.wikipedia.org). He is drawn there holding the same
purse-like device that Ninurta was shown holding in Assyria 900 BC
(see
commons.wikimedia.org).
We can also see a large sculpture of him from La Venta around 100
AD, meeting the natives in his three-lobed jester’s hat, which has
appeared often schematically in crops (see
www.bluffton.edu).
The academic archeologists say that La Venta Stela 19 shows an image
of their “corn god”. If so, how did the Olmecs and Mayans suddenly
rise up out of the jungle to build great pyramids, start
agriculture, or develop astronomy and mathematics, without any
outside help? The conventional theory makes no sense, especially
when we include the vast number of crop pictures which have shown
Mayan or Quetzalcoatl themes. Whether he is a space traveler, time
traveler, or from another dimension (or alternative Earth history)
we do not know. Yet 2013 seems to be a year “One Reed” in which he
promised to return, as the first year of a Mayan 52-year calendar.
Keep an eye on the skies and look for triangular UFOs, especially in
the Wiltshire area!
Appendix 1. The new crop picture at West Kennett Long Barrow
seems to show two separate and well-defined astronomical
alignments, to planetary and/or lunar sky locations on August
13, 2013
West
Kennett Long Barrow was built long ago in an almost East-to-West
direction, thereby making it an excellent field location to
illustrate any astronomical alignments in crops.
A
large “double triangle” from this new crop picture was aligned
toward Saturn and the Moon in the west-southwest, just after
sunset on August 13, 2013 (red
dashed line in the slide below):

This
also aligns it with other members of the current planetary
“Grand Trine” such as Jupiter or Neptune, which lie 120o
away in opposite directions (see
www.cosmicintelligenceagency.com or
Astrological_aspect).
Venus is currently a bright crescent in the west after sunset. A
central “crescent” from this crop picture was aligned toward
Venus in the west, just after sunset on August 13, 2013 (blue
dashed line in the slide above). A small standing tuft and a
“split wedge” increase the definition of that alignment to about
20o away from the Grand Trine. The size of this angle
depends on the value of latitude North in an Earth-centred view.
A
direct overhead measurement (using part of an aerial photo taken
by Janet Ossebaard) suggests an angle of offset between the
central “Venus crescent” and that large “double triangle”
between 15o to 20o, or from West (Venus)
to West-Southwest (Saturn-Moon) as shown:

The
exact angle depends on whether we choose a Sun-centred or
Earth-centred view. The slide above is only approximate, but
gives a general idea.
At
Wayland’s Smithy on August 9, 2005, a similar “crescent” in
crops likewise pointed toward Venus just after sunset, close to
eight years ago. That is one complete Venus cycle relative to
background stars (see
www.exploratorium.edu).
The
crop artist may have chosen “six wedges” on each side of the
centre, because there are two sets of three planets involved in
the “double triangle”, thereby yielding six planetary
objects in total (see the first slide on
comments). Alternatively, it could mean “twelve months”, a
“twelveth month”, or even “twelve planets around the Sun”.
A
small circle trailing behind, which has been joined to the large
“double triangle” with a thin line, bounded by two small line
segments on either side, resembles a symbol for our “Moon” which
was first drawn in crops more than 20 years ago (see
time2007f). That small circle pointed along its attaching
line to our Moon in the west-southwest, just after sunset on
August 13, 2013 (see the slide above).
A
careful study of such arcane astronomical phenomena was
characteristic of the ancient Mayan culture, and of their
legendary leader Quetzalcoatl (see
anthonyfaveni.com).
