Appeared in the Corn Field
in the “Fundação Harmonia” in
São Tomé
das Letras, MG, Brazil
Strange
geometric marks appeared
in the cornfield
of “Fundação Harmonia”, on
Sunday, December 15, 2013,
between 17 and 20 pm
in São Thomé das
Letras, MG, Brazil.
Aerial photos
obtained after the phenomenon
show several drawings formed
in cornfield.
A total of seven drawings
were formed, as shown in the
photos below.

Photographs
from other angles show that
the plants were bent at
the root, very near
to the ground.
The
figures show strangely
well delineated
contours, ruling out
natural causes.
The plants
did not die, and after a week
of the incident, they were
already returning to the
upright position toward the
Sun, as seen in the
photographs presented below.
The plants
did not die, getting back to
verticality one week after
the incident,
demonstrating that the stems
were not broken. After
40 days
the plants had already
returned to the upright position,
already producing spikes,
as shown in the photographs
presented below

Note the

The precise
lines of the
formed figures
(almost straight)
dismiss the possibility of
explanation based on
vortices of wind or other
natural phenomenon. Moreover,
the contours of the formed
figures are very clear
in a well
delineated line, which
is foreign to that they can
be formed by winds.
In an attempt to
deliberately bend the
plants manually
near to the ground, as seen
in the phenomenon, the stems
break (dry soil)
or the root
of the plant is exposed
(soft soil), as can be seen
in the photographs presented
below. Plants lowered
due to the phenomenon, very
close to the ground, do not have, in any
case, break of
the stem or
root exposure.
The intentional
bending of the
plant close to the ground
results in breaking
of the stem (left) or
exposure of the root (right).
Plants that
bent due to the phenomenon
show intact stems
and roots firmly attached
to the ground, completely
covered with soil. These
are evidences that the formed
drawings were not
produced artificially by man.
Details
of plants lowered to the ground level
with no sign of stem
fracture or
root exposure.Interestingly,
40 days after the occurrence
of the phenomenon, the
plants lowered near to the ground
have adapted to the new
situation and have
taken root at the nodes
that were near the ground,
as illustrate the photos
below
.
The
plants lowered near to the
ground developed new
roots at the nodes near
the ground.
In the detail, roots
were formed in two
nodes that were near
to the ground and
the main root at the end of
the plant. Also it is observed
the return of the plant to the
upright position after 40
days and an ear of corn
produced, attesting the
health of the plant after the
phenomenon.
The
“Fundação Harmonia” in São
Thomé das Letras is a
property with restricted
and controlled access, which
discards the possibility
of the drawings have been
produced artificially
by intruders. In addition,
the phenomenon occurred in a
short time, not
more than three hours.
None of the community residents
noticed anything weird,
until the phenomenon was
discovered by a resident
around 20hs.
