Berkley Vale of June 17, 2012 resembles both the transit of Venus across our Sun on June 6, 2012, and also an occultation of Jupiter by our Moon on July 15, 2012. It appeared on June 17, exactly one lunar month before the occultation of Jupiter on July 15. Venus and Jupiter were both close in the sky to our Moon as shown, on the night when it appeared. Yet Jupiter will not be eclipsed by our Moon until one month later on July 15.

One anomaly of this crop picture is that its central "small circle", which may represent Jupiter behind the Moon, lies too far from the lunar edge to be perfectly realistic. The crop artists could have drawn it differently for two possible reasons: (1) to cause it resemble Venus transit on June 6, or (2) to place that central "small circle" well out into standing crop, where no one could easily have walked, as evidence for its possible paranormal nature.
