Just visited the South formation at 4 pm this afternoon (1 Aug).  Someone there said they had spoke to the Owner of the Five Bells pub (near the field) and the owner said that the formation had been there since Friday a week ago, 23 July.  Also, I noticed a "signature" circle outside of the 20' wide, 300' diameter ring (photo attached) which clearly had not been walked on like the rest of the formation.  Looking at the connector photos, this circle is clearly not in any of the aerials, so must have appeared since those photos.  The location of the signature circle is about 80 ft clockwise from the "apostrophe" looking mark.  The circle was about three feet in from the nearest tram line and 4 feet outside of the formation ring.  No sign of anyone having gone through the standing wheat and the centre is straight up with the downed wheat quite fluffy.  Lastly, as we crossed the M4 to find the "sister" formation, some other croppies told us they had just been in the field and it has been mowed out.  We could clearly see where some of the field had been mowed.
