I spent the entire afternoon today in the Silbury Hill formation. I have to say its the premier location around the Avebury area, as the landscape all around as you stand in the field is stunning on a glorious day, especially with Silbury dominating the background. It was a very pleasant afternoon, although I nearly got ...run over by the Police! It was a close call! Here is a pole shot from the day.
