FORMATIONS APPEAR OF CONTRASTING DESIGNS IN ONE FIELD This unusually flat field just outside of the small village of Hodson, has been used before by the Circlemakers in years past. In 1998 we had two designs in the same field as this years, and once gain these two patterns were very different from each other. (See Below) Click on thumbnails to enlarge The first design to look at, will be the first one you would have entered walking down the tramline from the roadside. Very nice formation indeed, which comprised of two crescent (half moon) section, handed, surrounded by two larger crescents with an outer pathway encompassing the entire design. Within the smaller of the two sets of handed crescents, was a central circle with a neat floor construction. The other section of crop, creating the inner section of flattened crop was laid in two directions, but flowed out and came back into the inner portion of the two crescents.
