TWO FORMATIONS APPEAR OF CONTRASTING DESIGNS IN ONE FIELD

This unusually flat field just outside of the small village of Hodson, has been used before by the Circlemakers in years past. In 1998 we had two designs in the same field as this years, and once gain these two patterns were very different from each other. (See Below)

The first design to look at, will be the first one you would have entered walking down the tramline from the roadside. Very nice formation indeed, which comprised of two crescent (half moon) section, handed, surrounded by two larger crescents with an outer pathway encompassing the entire design.

Within the smaller of the two sets of handed crescents, was a central circle with a neat floor construction. The other section of crop, creating the inner section of flattened crop was laid in two directions, but flowed out and came back into the inner portion of the two crescents.

This formation consists of two very separate and distinct parts. The first is a downed ring of wheat (approx)75ft diameter Within this is an arrangement of standing sections that create the image of an eye. Rather cute and appears to be well defined & constructed.

The second aspect of this overall design is a little way up the field and centered on the same tramline as little sister down the hill. This consists of two 4ft wide rings with a diameter  of (approx 200ft.

Simple but, nevertheless rather nice..

Just mailing to report what may well be new crop circles in Hodson in  Chiseldon.

They can be seen on the road from Wroughton just past the turning that leads  you to the Calley Arms pub. A little way up from the bus shelter, on the right hand side, in a field that has a gentle slope.

The bottom formation has what appears to be crescents (small and large) and  the upper formation is a massive double ringed circle. We also discovered  what appear to be very small circles in the same field

Hope this is of interest to you
