Reconstruction of the
2007 Manton House formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the circumscribed dodecagon (regular 12-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing to the right.

3. Construct the circumscribed circle of dodecagon 2.

4. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the end-points of a centerline), defined by the righthand intersections of circles 1 and 3 with the horizontal centerline. See detail.

5. Copy circle 4 to its righthand intersection with the horizontal centerline. Move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own corresponding intersection.

6. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 5 at the righthand side.

7. Construct the inscribed six-pointed star of circle 1, by constructing two inscribed equilateral triangles, one pointing up, one down.

8. Copy circle 4 to the center of circle 1.

9. Construct a circle centered at the righthand mutual intersection of triangles 7, tangent to circle 8 at the righthand side.

10. Construct a circle concentric to circle 9, tangent to circle 8 at the lefthand side.

11. Copy circles 9 and 10 each five times, to the other mutual intersections of triangles 7.

12. Construct a circle, tangent to circle 1 at the righthand side, and tangent to both triangles 7 at the near sides, as shown.

13. Copy circle 12 to the center of circle 1.

14. Circles 1, 3, 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13 are used for the final reconstruction.

15. Remove all parts not present in the formation itself.

16. Colour all areas with standing...

17. ...or with flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2007 Manton House formation.

18. The final result, matched with the aerial image.
