The formation was made just outside Winton in Southern New Zealand on Saturday 7th March, and was harvested almost immediately after these shots were taken. The formation was made in under 4 hours by three people at night. It measures approx 300ft from point to point and has 103 flattened circles, plus the standing mandlebrot. The missing mandelbrot elements were swirled into the flattened crop, but they are not visible in these shots. The formation also has a two circle signature (bottom right)....

The formation was made for NBC-TV and will be aired on peak-time national TV in the US during May, and then around the world shortly after. the Projected audience for the US alone is 25 million!
