Kalispell,  nr Glacier National Park, Montana. USA. Reported 28th August

Field Report

I visited the Kalispell/WhiteFish pictogram on 1st September . From a distance the approx. 75 ft Cross with a Circle in the inner 2/3rds. with side bars to the main arms looked good Closer examination in the formation indicated it was clearly a hoax.
All wheat stems at the ground level were broken or snapped. A single layer in the direction of travel Dowsing indicated no difference in energies in and out of the pictogram. No stem nodes were swollen. Access to and from formation was by
narrow path from vehicle track through vehicle wheel marks in close by grass strip   along highway. It was first reported the morning of the 25th. Owner of field first observed it that morning.

"A riddle etched in wheat appeared mysteriously Friday night, tracing circles across a golden field north of Kalispell.

"The crop circle sprawls across a low spot in the field, a giant ring crossed as if by compass points. Eight smaller lines stretch away from the circle, parallel to the extending compass points. The ring of flattened wheat is about 250 feet across, easily visible from Highway 93 between Kalispell and Whitefish. The ring itself is formed by a swath about eight feet wide. Inside that swath, the wheat is flattened clockwise, then counterclockwise, then clockwise again, weaving an intricate pattern within the pattern. The same two-foot tracks of wheat, lying in opposite directions against the hard-packed dirt, parallel each other to create  the long, straight lines.

"At the centre, where the lines cross, a whorl of bright green wheat contrasts the ocean of otherwise golden grain. All in all, the effect is similar to the Indian "Great Giver" symbol seen in the state flag of New Mexico."
