Eltopia-Pasco, nr Kennewick, Washington. Reported 19th June

Washington State has recorded its second
Formation of the Season just South of the tiny town of Eltopia, West of Highway 395! The
largest Circle is ~66' in diameter, and there are nine all totalled. As are most Crop
circle here in the States, Eltopia is within 25 miles of a nuclear facility ... actually,
it's about 15 miles from Hanford, #1 toxic area on the SuperFund list. Eltopia is between
Kennewick and Hanford (K'wick received the first US pictogram in 1993 and is ~25 miles
from Hanford). Also as with most other US Formations, our newest one is within a
quarterback's throw of a fresh water source ... the proximity of the
strongly running irrigation aqueduct can be seen in one of the photos.
As you see, some areas of the wheat field as well as parts of the Circles are green and young, even while some have already ripened to gold and would be ready to harvest in about a week. The reason for the variation: there is a shallow layer of soil under the golden areas, underneath which is rock. The soil is deeper under the crop where it is green, hence the plants access more water. Stressing wheat by withholding water causes a higher-protein grain to develop, though in this case the farmer told me he'd probably water again this week.
A neighbour's dogs awoke them with their
sudden barking fit at 3am on Friday morning June 19. The following day, another neighbour
entered the Formation with the farmer and his family carrying a computerised address book
in his pocket ... Merle is a farmer, a pilot, and an auctioneer, and had collected over
1000 names, addresses, and phone numbers which he'd stored in the 'e-book'. Unfortunately,
as he learned when he tried to access a phone number after leaving the Formation on
Saturday, the
huge electromagnetic Energies within the Circle had zapped the computer's RAM, and he lost
Everything that had been in it! Leave your laptops and e-gizmos in the trunk/boot of your
vehicle if you love them! ;-)
Along this line, I'd suggest that someone with a pacemaker might consider waiting a day or two before entering a fresh Formation. The bulk of the acute Energies seem to dissipate [at least, the animals accept that they do] after 3 days, though the more subtle Energies linger for over 2.5 years that I've documented [at Hug Point and Chehalis] ).
Back at Eltopia, despite his misfortune, Merle joined us in the Circle with the farmer and his 3 kids when we arrived late Wednesday evening. I invited them all to try my dowsing rods at the Sound Barrier (Merle had 'water-witched' before), and everyone successfully obtained a positive reaction. Perimeter stalks were in their 'appropriate' places, the tracks of the Wind Tubes were clearly visible (the farmer had commented to me with some surprise even before we'd entered the Circles that many of the photos I showed him from my monograph depicted exactly how *his*Formation looked), and Bundling was in evidence throughout all the individual Circles. The family's young black puppy romped happily throughout the Formation, and reportedly had no problem entering it the day after it had Arrived (some dogs will not enter a fresh Formation).
Craig Schaefer is the farmer-recipient of
this interesting and beautifully-laid Formation ... I think it'd be fair to say that he's
quite intrigued with it :-) Craig is the farmer of a croppie's dreams -- He's opened the
Circle to visitors! =:-D If you're able to
visit, please remember that this is desert country and *very dry*, and the fire hazard is
quite real. For additional photos and instructions re: how to locate this Crop circle,
