Cosmic Corrections.  Correction 1. In a  previous article re the Sentena crop circle on this site I erroneously defined (AU) as Angstrom Units whereas the true definition is ‘Astronomical Units’. Angstrom Units are measurements of the wavelengths of Light.( Apologies for slip of aging memory.)   Correction 2. We have had two crop circles in the form of views of the solar system both claimed to represent the date of around the 21st of December 2012. The first one was in 2008 and the second was on the 17th June this year in Sentena Italy. The very accurate diagram below is a representation of the Avebury Manor crop circle of July 15th 2008.  It is an heliocentric view of our solar system and as such, except for the position of Pluto and its orbit, the other eight planet positions are correct. This is confirmed by the ‘Red Shift’ Astronomical Computer program print out for the same date See below also Plate 1, The actual date which matches the positions of Mercury and Venus, and which produces the computer print out image is the 30th of December 2012. If the date was the 21st of December these two planets would be aligned with the centre of the Sun and not offset as shown.     Plate 1.Heliocentric North Polar view of Solar System.  Print out from ‘Red Shift 5’for Dec.24 2012. Pluto and its orbit is not shown in this view because its position is erroneous and possibly an unintended anomaly  The Sentena crop circle field image below does not represent the December 2012 date. It is very obvious that the positions of Mars and the Earth are counter opposed.  A claim has been made that this field image of the solar system is a south polar view rather than the usual north polar view and it must be seen as a mirror image which then does match the Avebury Manor formation shown above. This is indeed true but only for the inner planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.  When the outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are added into the picture for the Sentena field view and a mirror image is generated, a totally different date emerges, determined by vastly different outer planet positions. Also if the claim was true then generating a mirror image of the Avebury Manor formation field view would give outer planet positions identical to those revealed by the enlargement of the Sentena formation field view. The required correct mirror images to validate a claim that the Sentena formation represents the 21st of December date do not occur.   Please see the ‘Red Shift 5’ print outs for the other three views  below. An extensive search backwards and forwards through time using the planetarium computer program has found that the only matching date for the Sentena solar plane view is the 26th of April 1962.  Other researchers have confirmed this and the potential implications of this date are discussed elsewhere on the CCC.      Sentena Italy June 17.2012  Plate 2.    Print out of claimed  South Polar View Avebury Manor planet  positions for 24th Dec. 2012.  Outer planets and orbits added  Plate 3. Compare Plates 1 and 4.  If the Sentena field view was a South Polar view of the Avebury Manor formation these plates should be identical with regard to the positions of all the planets. Plate 2 and 4 should be identical similarly.  While the inner planets are a positional match the outer planets are in vastly different positions as Rocco Porreca found, from what should be the case if Sentena really does represent the 21 December 2012 date.  From the NASA table, “ The Characteristics of planetary orbits” (see below.)  Uranus which has an orbital period of about 84 years, is separated in the two views Plate 1 and Plate 4 by about half an orbit, so the time difference is about 42 years. Whether this is past or future or even a true date is yet to be determined. Note; The distance measure (AU) is an Astronomical Unit which is the average distance of the Earth from the Sun, approximately 93,000000 miles. Note the difference between the two Neptunes  where the orbital period is almost 248 years.     Correction 3. Few of us have a real concept of the vastness of our Solar System. The Heliocentric diagrams shown above are schematic only and not proportional to the real distances separating planetary orbits. To satisfy my own need to understand reality I have prepared a chart with a scale of one centimeter equal to a distance of one million miles. To show even this scaled down drawing in full I would need to use a sheet of paper some 28 Metres wide. See ‘Planet Distances from the Sun’ below    It may be found astonishing that based on the above scale of 1 centimeter to I million miles, the planet scale diameters are so tiny. For example the Earth is 0.930 meters from the Sun and would be represented by a disc of only about eight hundredths of a millimeter diameter.  The Sun is some 108 times bigger than the Earth and 108 x 8000 is 864000 miles as given above. This is 0.864 centimeter on the chart scale. The size of Mercury at this scale is even more revealing Its distance from the Sun is just over one foot and its diameter is three hundredths of a millimeter, about the thickness of a sheet of note paper, You would need a microscope to see it. Giant Jupiter would be easier to find but not much, it is only about nine tenths of a millimeter. Neptune presents a serious problem. It is over 91 feet out from our scale Sun and like Mercury only three tenths  of a millimeter in diameter.   As for humans?  We are merely the size of bacteria!!. Finally to help to clear up any possible misconceptions about Constellations, in particular the 12 Zodiac ones, here is a heliocentric view of the solar system planet positions for today the 3rd of July 2012, with the Zodiac constellations added.     There are 88 constellations which are internationally recognized at locations inside the Celestial Sphere. The 12 zodiac ones are situated along the ecliptic which is the apparent path of the Sun through the year.  These are the ones which supposedly allow Astrologers to produce horoscopes related to your birth date.  An example from the above is that looking from Earth across Venus you can see that it appears to be in the constellation of Cancer.  A horoscope can be cast from this for anyone with a birthday today, or perhaps in this month.  Scientists will tell you that Astrology is a centuries old myth without any real foundation, but belief is a personal matter for everyone.  However it has to be realized that constellations are human constructs from certain recognized groups of stars. The individual stars within the groups may actually be many light years apart and would not be seen as groups from other locations in space other than from the surface of Earth or other solar planet.  While the regional locations of the zodiac groups can be placed as in the above heliocentric view, the stars cannot be placed. We would have to know the distance of each individual star from the solar system to allow location, and stars are vast distances away.  The nearest one to us is 4 light years away. The diameter of our solar system is about 200au which is 18600 million miles.  4 light years is 252288. or 23462784000000.0 miles. Placing the stars is an impossible task in the above or any similar view.   Jack Sullivan 3rd July 2012.
