Looking at this formation I remembered the story of the Greek historian Herodotus:

The Greek historian Herodotus recorded message about the long darkness of a biblical "stop the sun". Leaning on the story of the Egyptian priests of Memphis. This happened during the reign of Egyptian kings. Sun said several times based on the west, and went down to the east.
