Needle's Eye. Update:-
I stumbled across your website yesterday evening, and thought I
would Drop you a quick email regarding the apparent discovery of a
crop Circle in Little Wenlock , Shropshire.
The Wrekin is a local landmark, commanding some of the best views of
the Shropshire hills and the local towns and villages , hence why
this is such a popular location for walkers , myself included. Early
Yesterday afternoon, I was at the summit of the Wrekin and noticed
there were a few people pointing cameras towards the village of
little Wenlock which lies to the east. Confused as to what could
possibly be so interesting (very little of interest happens in rural
Shropshire) I was amazed to see what appears to be a crop formation,
lying in a Field of wheat. Unfortunately, I rarely take a camera
with me, as I Thought I had photographed everything that there is to
see from up There over the years , but this was something of a
shock. Speaking to One of the folks who did have a camera they have
promised they will Email some shots over to me , which I will
happily forward over to Yourself. At a rough estimate I would say
that the whole formation Totals well over 100 metres, the best view
being from the rocky Outcrop called the needles eye. If any of your
readers are intending On-going to view this 'formation' I would
advise caution, as this Outcrop can be quite hazardous with a sheer
drop, just last week an Experienced walker had to be rescued after
falling here. A final word , I am somewhat of a sceptic when it
comes to the paranormal, very Much a 'believe when I see' sort of
chap , however this has genuinely Sent chills down my spine.
