Went up to Uffington Serpent last evening. It had been raining heavily during the day so the ground lay was no longer fluffy as you would normally expect. But the overall impression was positive, as we noted evidence of energy leak in tramlines, split edge lay, and countless bent nodes. (Photos of the latter will be sent later). The farmer was soon on the scene and called the police. This resulted in no action being taken. This worked in our favour as one officer was very interested in the subject and accepted some books and DVDs to place in the police staff room for all to view.
