Three
crop pictures at The Wrekin on July 21, Longwood Warren on July 25,
or Longwood Road on August 5, 2012 used the same clever codes and
symbolisms, and referred to the current astronomy of a Saturn-Spica-Mars
“sky triangle”
A
400-meter crop picture at The Wrekin in Shropshire on July 21, 2012
showed a distinctive Saturn-Spica-Mars “triangle”, which would not
form in Earth’s sky until August 5. Nearby there was another small
crop picture representing a “crescent Moon”, which would pass by
Mars in Earth’s sky on July 24. The shape of the main crop picture
was a 13-sided polygon, where the number of sides
represented the number of days from July 24 until August 5 (see
wrekin or
wrekin):
A second
crop picture at Longwood Warren in Hampshire on July 25, 2012 showed
superficially an image of “London Olympic Stadium”, with its
distinctive light triangles (see a slide posted above). Yet it also
showed a deeper astronomical symbolism! This time a 9-sided
polygon represented the number of days from August 5 to
August 13. As the shape of that Saturn-Spica-Mars “triangle” keeps
changing in Earth’s sky, between August 5 and August 13, so each
crop “triangle” over the “stadium” changes in a similar fashion:
A third
crop picture at Longwood Road near Owslebury, Hampshire showed seven
successive triangles of different shapes. Those were shown by Miguel
Etchepare to represent the changing shape of a Saturn-Spica-Mars
“sky triangle” between August 7 and August 13 (see
longwood road).
In
summary, we have seen a series of three separate crop pictures at
The Wrekin, Longwood Warren or Longwood Road. All of these used very
clever codes and/or symbolisms to tell about the current astronomy
of Saturn, Spica and Mars.
The
first specified date of August 5 was when those three
bright objects formed a “Martian Sky Triangle” in Earth’s sky,
coincident in time with landing of NASA Curiosity Rover on Mars (see
science.nasa.gov). The next specified date of August 13
will be when those same bright objects “line up” in Earth’s sky, and
the “triangle” shape collapses (see
earthsky.org).
