Avebury Stone Circle of August 1, 2012 was the fifth crop picture of its kind from the summer of 2012, and shows metaphorically a four-body alignment of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and our Moon on August 15, 2012 (the “current astronomy of Venus”)  

Avebury Stone Circle of August 1 was the fifth crop picture of a similar style from the summer of 2012:  

First we saw Woodborough Hill on June 9, which showed three “ocean sunfish” swimming metaphorically upward through the sky, in order to represent planet Venus moving up and away from the Sun after solar transit on June 6. Then we saw Milk Hill of June 25, which compared Venus to a “sunfish” or “serpent” swimming up at dawn through the stars of Taurus. Next we saw Stanton St. Bernard on June 29, which compared the passage of bright Venus through those V-shaped stars to the metaphor of a “cross” on top of a “Christian cathedral”.  

On July 9 we saw another spectacular crop picture at Picked Hill, where Venus as a “serpent” was now turning back down toward the Sun, while passing by certain bright stars in Taurus. Then on July 17 we saw Phase II of Stanton St. Bernard (not shown), where Venus was drawn next to our Moon, while it was occulting Jupiter. Finally on July 20 we saw Phase III of Stanton St. Bernard, which showed bright Venus passing down through the stars of Taurus towards a diamond-shaped asterism (shown below).  

Four previous crop pictures of similar style therefore describe the “current astronomy of Venus”. So in order to understand the new crop picture at Avebury Stone Circle on August 1, we must first review what its many detailed symbols mean!  

All three “serpents” in the new crop picture contain both “crescent” and “diamond” shapes, similar to those shown in Phase III of Stanton St. Bernard on July 20, 2012:  

Those “crescents” represent the crescent-shaped appearance of Venus (or some other planet) as they reflect light back from the Sun, while those “diamonds” represent a diamond-shaped set of stars through which Venus was passing in late July of 2012:  

 

Quite interestingly, the detailed lay within a large central circle at Avebury Stone Circle may have been meant to represent certain features on the surface of our Moon, which became full on the very next day of August 2, 2012:  

Knowing now that each “crescent” from Avebury Stone Circle represents a “bright planet in crescent phase”, while each “diamond” represents a diamond-shaped set of stars in Taurus (where Venus is currently located), and that its large central circle represents “our Moon”, we can make a reasoned assessment of what the overall image is supposed to represent!  

On August 15, 2012 at sunrise, three bright planets in crescent phase will line up along the solar ecliptic with our Moon, close to a diamond-shaped set of stars in Taurus:  

The uppermost “serpent” in that new crop picture was drawn with 14 circles in total, to represent “14 days” between August 1 and August 15. Two smaller “serpents” were drawn with 7 or 8 circles each, where their sum as (7 + 8) = August 15. Crop tramlines along which those three “serpents” align are clearly meant to represent the “solar ecliptic”(yellow dashed line). On the next day August 16, our Moon will move just below Mercury so as to create an even closer fit with the crop picture, but will also become harder to see near the Sun.  

Several further details of this new crop picture may be mentioned. Three star-shaped symbols which lie along thin curved lines at lower left resemble other “four pointed stars” from Stanton St. Bernard or Picked Hill, and mean simply “bright sky object”. Several “crescents” appear offset in angle from the main body of their “serpents”, because the precise appearance of any crescent planet, relative to the local horizon, depends on which latitude you may be observing from on Earth. Finally, all three of those thin curved lines which show “sky paths or orbits” for Mercury, Venus or Jupiter have been “notched” in a stepwise fashion. Those notches suggest that the innermost planet Mercury moves faster than the middle planet Venus, which in turn moves faster than the outermost planet Jupiter.  

To conclude, Avebury Stone Circle shows the fifth crop picture of a similar style from the summer of 2012. All five of those crop pictures describe metaphorically a “current astronomy of Venus”. Why would paranormal crop artists be interested in such an obscure subject? It seems to go back to ancient Mayan culture, and how they regarded any motion of planet Venus through Earth’s sky as symbolic of the life and/or actions of their beloved god-teacher Quetzalcoatl, whom they called a “Feathered Serpent”.
