Conjecture

It could be that the pattern is formed by projecting a directed energy beam from a torus plasma-drive aerial platform. The vehicle would be 'hidden'/invisible in its own tight aura of hyperspace, generated by the plasma drive.

It would sweep over the area some thirty metres above the ground directing its beam vertically downwards.

The crop circle would have been pre-designed in computer graphics with colour-coded 'lay' configurations. The complex pattern would be applied to the landscape - much as one would use a pad of ink and a stencil in the old days.

Extra details could be added if the craft re-visited the site, locking on to the pre-determined GPS co-ordinates,

This has just been sent to us. It is a very mysterious shaft of light that moved past a crop circle. It was shot last summer in Wiltshire, UK. We believe them when they say it was not photoshopped. See Email below.
