Here is a high contrast B/W image from Oliver Morel's excellent highly detailed image. Very evocative imagery in the lay-work within the circle. Looks like a randomly woven or well-worn knitted mat or cap that's been compressed. I can discern traces of three smaller circles in the lay.

Here's 3D image of the sun from the 2 NASA Stereo space satellites, obtained from the NASA website HERE.  To get the 3D effect you need red/blue 3D glasses, blue = right eye. It's a spectacular image viewed in 3D. With its random-looking surface pattern, it sits nicely alongside the Stanton St Bernard formation, except the Stanton formation seems to contain a vague looking knitted rope pattern.

The crop circle at Stanton St Bernard of 21st June looks for me like an orb, Maybe a picture of the cc makers.

This simple disk looks like a three dimensional data set. It should contain encoded data and might be able to be read with a computer. The data density would be enormous.
