Not sure if this belongs in field reports or where, but have visited about six of the recent crop circles with a group of 12 people. When visiting the double spiral near Mere we all independently came to the conclusion that it was man made. The edges are very rough, as can be seen from the aerial photos, there was a large abandoned piece of concrete to one side of the crop circle which looked as if it has been used for anchoring a rope, the lay was uneven and messy and damaged looking. The centre of each spiral clearly shows a dug hole. The appearance is quite different from a genuine circle. The feeling was completely different from the genuine circles we have visited.
