| I went to find it around 2pm. A film
crew from Norway were just leaving the field, so I was lucky to get
easy directions.
I don't know if you've had reports from other
people yet, but I found the centre rather messy with more mud around
than elsewhere in the formation. The few standing stalks
remaining, inside the centre, were quite heavily crushed (see
attachment). AT the time I was the only person there, but maybe
quite a few others had visited before me?

Don't know if this is of interest, but when I
arrived near Yatesbury I saw a group of cars parked beyond the
airfield gate - along the main road to Calne. I thought they might
be others looking for the formation, so I took a closer look through
binoculars. 2 cars with boot lids open & 2 other vehicles beyond
them. Several people wandering around. No sign of a crop circle
though, so assumed they were part of a farming activity (which they
may well have been!)
On the road into Yatesbury, at the first gate was a car parked.
Three women were returning to the car. Two were part of a film
crew from Norway they said. The third ran a B&B in Avebury Trusloe.
(She gave me her card!) They were joined by a very muddy young man
who was last out of the field.
They had been on their way back to the airport (Gatwick), when they
heard the news...............but this is beginning to sound a bit
far fetched, but they could be as innocent of this event as I was?
I just checked the website & saw the
image...............................any idea what time it was
reported?

UPDATE:- 31/05/2010
Since leaving my feedback I have been in contact with the lady from
Avebury Trusloe, and the group she was with. I wish to make it quite
clear that my reaction to the Yatesbury formation was based on what
I saw & felt at the time. If my words have been unjust or unkind
towards innocent people, then I must apologise fully." Penny Thornton
Just to let everyone know, the BBC
have confirmed in an email, that they did indeed commission the
Yatesbury circle as part of an advertising campaign for the TV show
Q.I.

I am just contacting you about the QI crop circle which has been
submitted to your website. There is some speculation as to where
this came from and I just wanted to clarify this.
The crop circle was commissioned by the team at Quite
Interesting Ltd as part of the new series of QI which is
currently in production. The show will be returning to BBC One
in the Autumn.
