In every Crop Circle Season, there comes a formation that defines the season. The five pointed Star design at Chisbury, in my opinion is that event.  The reason for this is a combination of factors.

Firstly, the formation was beautifully created.  Masterful in construction, and to such an extent, that many people inside for the formation were quite mesmerised by the accuracy and skill involved.

Secondly, the whole event was positioned perfectly within the field. If it had been created any further down the field, the impact wouldn’t have been the same.

Thirdly, the wonderful weather, and its popularity on this specific night couldn’t have been beaten. It was visited by at least a hundred

people on this night, with the added bonus of the Farmer’s permission to enter. These specific factors made the whole event quite magical and very special.

A final point:  Watching people walking around the formation, and discussing it in a quiet manner, reminded me of the very early days

of researching the Crop Circles when there were many more people visiting the formations. On this very night, the trail of people walking down the tramlines to the formation was just like 20 years ago!

I had a wonderful weekend in Wiltshire meeting old friends and making new friends inside crop circles. Its amazing how many great people you can meet and how many fantastic conversations you can have inside these incredible formations. My weekend culminated at the most beautiful Chisbury formation, what a superb view it is from this circle, very peaceful indeed. Here is another small selection of anaglyph pictures ( you will need red and cyan glasses to view them).
