WAITING FOR A FIELD REPORT FROM A
LOCAL CROP CIRCLE EXPERT RESEARCHER

A curious thing about the formation is that it does not just contain
wheat as there are some flowering plants with red leaves in it too.

I have just found your site on Google after searching for crop circle details. I was out hiking some of the Gloucestershire Way near Cheltenham today, on the 28th. In a field between Upper Coberley and Needlehole we found something that looks like a crop circle. It is close to woods and a farmhouse. We have never seen a crop circle in person before so we are not certain. Probably not wise but we waded in to take a closer peek and it is one small circle surrounded by two rings. Perhaps it is something the farmer uses and I am mistaken? Maybe one of your readers could look? The grid reference is approximately SO980165. I wonder whether you may be able to shed some more light on this? The possible circle is just in front of the electrical pylon.

UPDATE:- 31/072010

I took a visit over to the Coberley formation in Gloucestershire that is on the crop circle rumours page. After spending half an hour trying to find it (my inability to read a print out of a map rather than a dodgy grid reference) I did eventually find it. It is only really visible from the far end of the field.

I think it certainly falls into crop circle category. There is a grapeshot in the middle surrounded by a ring of un-flattened wheat. On the outside there is a flattened ring. You know my theory on how these things are made but the usual suspects may be keen to know I found a few bent and extended nodes!

The whole thing is rather small though. I would guess (and my estimation isn't very good) that it is about 20ft or so in diameter. It has a very innocent feel to it, like the early Doug and Dave efforts. I like it.
