Given the wide variety of interpretations of any given Crop formation, please note that  the opinions published by the individual contributors to this site do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Crop Circle Connector.

Today's Aug 16 crop circle at Tidcombe seems to have the date encoded again (as did the 12 Aug 2009 circle). There are 8 (Aug) spokes, with the outer containing 16 large circles.  Also, the "S" (sixteen) shapes are perhaps related. In addition to some other interpretations, maybe hints at atomic structure (protons / electron shells).

The formation has a great 'feel' to it and the maths varies depending on whether you consider the "S" parts are on a ratio of 3:2 = perfect 5th in music or including grapeshot 7:4 a harmonic seventh interval in music, which is dissonant within the music scale and other intervals. yet has a sweeter sound than it's flatter minor seventh.

Ratio 4:7
360 x 7 2520
360 x 4 1440
3960 (radius of Earth) x 8 = 31680 squares the circle of the Earth+Moon at 31680 in miles.

31680/360 centre circle = 88

The number 88 is synonymous with the orbit of Mercury 88 days.

Thoth/Mercury/Hermes is associated with the octagon or number 8 and Alchemy. The Egyptians called Hermes - Thoth and his role there was as the transporter of souls. Ancient Egypt called Mercury 'Thoth', the great measurer, a divinity associated with knowledge and the inventor of speech, writing, and arithmetic. Thoth was an important deity in the Egyptian pantheon and was often depicted with the head of an Ibis. Radar observations in 1965 proved that the Mercury has a 3:2 spin-orbit resonance, rotating three times for every two revolutions around the Sun; the eccentricity of Mercury's orbit makes this resonance stable.

Mercury in Greek mythology is the messenger and associated with the Caduceus.

On August 16, 2009 a crop circle with 8 arms  and 40 same size circles and one huge circle that could represent the sun was found in Wiltshire, England, and harvested the same day.  On August 21, 2009 it will be 40 of our months to December 21, 2012, or 1222 whole days from when the crop circle was harvested, till a harvest time on December 21, 2012.

One comment on that crop circle saw the beginning date of 8/16/09 in the make-up, and another comment saw earth and moon, with earth in a square box with a perimeter of 31680 miles.  The moon being 2160 miles in diameter added to 7920 miles of earth's diameter equals 10080 miles.

The Great pyramid, which represents "earth", with a 362.88 day solar year once, because the pyramid has a perimeter of 36288 modern day English/American inches, or 1008.0 English/American yards and was made using 22/7 as Pi to square the circle (31680/10080 = 22/7 (
π) and that symbol is made with alt+number pad 227.   The atomic weight of hydrogen is 1.0080.  "Lord Jesus Christ" (800 + 888 + 1480) in Greek gematria adds to 3168 as written in Greek in 2 Peter 1:14, which begins with the word "Knowing" in the King James Version.
