A sudden change in solar energy 5200 years ago at the end of the Mayan Fourth Sun?  

Why were two of the symbols for “Sun” at Avebury Manor 2008 or Roundway Hill 2009 drawn as expanding or “too big”? 

The Mayans recorded that their Fourth Sun from a previous epoch on Earth ended on August 11-13, 3114 BC. Likewise, carbon dating of sudden climate change all across the Earth produces a date of 3130 BC, plus or minus 40 years (Thompson et al., Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA 103, 10536, 2006). 

Today we are living in the years of a “quiet Sun”. Was there also a quiet Sun in or around 3114 BC, just before the Mayan Fourth Sun ended?  

"Evidence shows that about 5200 years ago, light energy from our Sun dropped sharply then surged over a short period” (see antarcticsun):  

Thus it would not seem impossible that light energy from our Sun will again increase over a relatively short period of time, perhaps in 2012 AD as the Mayan Fifth Sun ends. Could that be why our crop artist friends drew those two symbols for Sun as “too big”?

Before I can begin to describe this formation - the first comment is this ` Once again we are showing you further proof, how and what we use to create crop circle formations. (ideal words of the crop circle makers) . Once again we have a formation of a spinning disc with extractable and retractable blades.. Time and time again we have seen similar formations in the past with the same message, but yet we are failing to recognise this basic concept of communication and what we are being shown. We must also not forget the first formation of the year which is clearly showing us the international symbol of signal/radio waves = communication. The crop circle makers, I believe will show us and confirm many of our questions and answers in this already busy season. With the first few formations laid down on the ground - I truly believe the communication is in the process and has begun.

My own 2008 theory, regarding this and other similar formations, I stick to like glue and if I have to promise to eat my hat once again if I'm wrong! - then let it be.

No need to panic : other solar storms occurred in 2003 and 2006, yet hardly anyone on Earth took any notice. 

It is true that most solar storms usually do not hit Earth and will pass us by with little effect.  The aurora borealis (northern lights) and aurora australis (southern lights) may become more intense and spill over the Earths magnetic field so they can be seen from mid latitudes rather than the poles.  The storms in 2003 and 2006 passed us by as they were not major storms.  The sun has a 11 year solar cycle and we are currently very much in the quiet phase.  Solar storms emanate from field lines between sunspots and we have been at an all time low for some years now.  In 1989 a major solar storm knocked out power to Quebec in Canada.  The high power energy lines that we use are vulnerable to just this type of storm and as we rely on them more and more the odds of a catastrophic outage increase, and because the power grids are interconnected a cascade effect could occur knocking out many of the grids.  Even in the 1800's we were vulnerable as what became known as the Carrington event knocked out telegraph grids. 

A recent New Scientist issue covered this information in great depth, I will try and find out what issue it was through the ones I have but I believe it was only in the past month.

In the centre of this formation is a comet surrounded by a ring; this is a common indication of a comet just beginning to acquire a coma. The outer four rings indicate the location of the earth according to numerous other crop circles. The 18 outer figures appear to be rings or the earth in a certain cycle (18 days, weeks, months, years, etc.). If it is 18 years, then in the year 2009 + 18, or 2027, we will see this comet with its initial coma. Interestingly, according to the Heck Hypothesis, Comet A will closely approach earth in late 2027 or early 2028, causing a number of fragments to strike the planet, but not the comet itself.
