I entered this formation today (6th Aug), the whole of the laid crop is mud covered, consistent with the high volume of rain over the past few days, however there is little actual stem damage, with  the overall lay is not entirely flattened. I found a few examples of stems curved at the second node. Other points of interest include: -  Both the flattened outline and the main inner line are flowing clockwise. The main inner ring has a basket weave neatly woven approximately a foot away from the central raised crop. The intricate lines forming diamonds are carefully overlaid. The main central curved diamond has four lovely swirls in it.

Although the farmer seemed ok with me being here, he did say however, he does not want further visitors.
