Please find
attached picture that Francine took while flying yesterday of a
new Goddess Symbol formation. It's quite close to the Honey
Street circle. This accompanies the 'report a circle' form that
I've sent from your site however we said Stanton St Bernard on
the form, and on closer inspection of the map, we think South of
the canal at Stanton Bridge next to the road towards Mill Farm.

FIELD REPORT HONEYSTREET -
THE GODDESS
By Janet Ossebaard
When this
small formation appeared at the end of July, I remembered
thinking: “That’s GOT to be a hoax!” Clearly a Goddess holding a
sun (or 8th chakra) in her hands above her head, an
image that can easily be found in any shop in Glastonbury. The
moment it appeared I was in Glastonbury attending the annual
3-day crop circle conference.
After 15 years
of researching this phenomenon, I still get trapped occasionally
by my old prejudices and inside-the-box-thinking… Little did I
know until I entered this pretty little formation. The feeling
was magical, soft and sweet yet powerful: a true Goddess! The
lay of the crop was sublime, I entered the formation at the
bottom of the formation, where the outer ring touch the Goddess’
feet. A breath-taking example of interweaving lay before me: two
swirls, one from the left and one from the right, met at this
very point at her feet. Two rivers of energy had crushed into
each other, leaving a magical play behind of flattened wheat
plants. The many layers of crop indicated that the both flows
had reached the lowest point of the ring at exactly the same
moment. But it didn’t stop there, it bent inwards, both from the
left and the right, towards the Goddess herself as if to kiss
her feet. This is where the outer ring and the Goddess became
one..
I held my
breath as I walked on, towards the lower part of her body.
Multi-layering was the word that said it all. A joyful play of
light and dark as a result of the way in which the stems had
been flattened. Left, right, up, down, in, out… This small
formation was a true gem!
In the centre
of the lower part of the Goddess’ body was a standing bundle of
wheat plants. One side of the standing plants had clearly been
affected heavily by the energies: the seed heads had been
scorched by the heat and turned black. (See photos added). One
plant had been burnt heavily, other plants inside the bundle
were only partially burnt (Only one or two seeds). A bit further
down, many of these plants had been broken at a slightly
different height. Whatever kind of energy vortex had hit these
plants, it had not been subtle! I had found traces of intense
heat in different crop circles in the past, but never as severe
as these.
When I walked
through the rest of the formation, I found another plant that
had experienced the heat of the Circle Makers: a thistle was
partially scorched to blackness. The strange thing however was
the fact that the other part of the plant was totally
unaffected. Not only had it not been burnt, it had not been
flattened either. God(dess) knows how these energies work, bit
they certainly work in mysterious ways!
Upon looking
at the formation from above, one can clearly see that the
standing tuft of plants in the lower part of the Goddess’ body
represents a specific body part. No, not the navel guys, look at
her anatomy! As my friend Andrew said with a big grin on his
face: “Maybe this formation can teach us blokes… You can almost
hear us mumble:
“Oh, THAT is
where it is then?!” Why it was scorched remains a mystery. Maybe
the Circle Makers were simply telling us that Goddesses are HOT?

Also, we visited Honey street
which looked similar to the "Goddess" figurines sold in many
crystal stores in Glastonbury. A bit larger (190 ft diameter)
then the pin wheel at North Down.

Description: |
Goddess symbol with a large circle
border ( 150 - 200ft dia. ) The Goddess is laid in 5 parts - 'Lower
body', 'Chest', 'Head', and 'Arms' which are holding a circle
overhead. This circle seems to be the same size as the chest and
head and is half inside the border and half within the border
itself. The crop is laid very neatly and has a flow to it. The lay
of the crop within the 'lower body' is in the form of a labyrinth
!!! From the bottommost point it leads you spiralling in clockwise
until you reach the centre ( where there is a small mount of
standing crop ) Then it leads out again, spiralling anti-clockwise
until it reaches the 'chest' circle. This is purely a beautiful
formation and the most feminine circle I've ever seen !
UPDATE
Hi Ya! Ref. the Goddess circle -
There is a lot of conflicting information on the page to where
exactly it is. It is definitely at Honey street opposite the Saw
Mill. Park here or at the Barge Inn Car Park ( Not on the main road
because it will cause an accident ) Then go across the road into the
field and enter via the 3rd tramline. The formation is in a slight
dip in the field so at first you won't be able to see it, but trust
me - it's there. |

When Francine's aerial shot of the Goddess Circle at
Honey street came online today I was blown away. Although I knew what it
should look like, you can never really tell until you see it from above.
But then I got a feeling that I had seen the like of it already this
year and after a while this really got to bug me. So I went over all the
measurements that I had taken from all the crop circles in Wiltshire
this year, then ( eventually ) I found it ! The Solar eclipse circle
at West Kennett
( 6/6/08). I'll let you work out the last bit for
yourselves. Enjoy !!!

The Goddess

Black Spiral Goddess: The Goddess who keeps light and dark in
balance. As surely as night follows day and as surely as the
seasons turn, each life spirals through its seasons of darkness.
Wise Black Spiral Goddess reminds us that our dark, quiet,
barren periods are meant to be times of reflection,
introspection and deep spiritual growth. As the seed rests in
the dark earth before sprouting into the warm sunshine and
quenching rains, so must we pass through the cave of the crone
on our path to the joyful dawning of new enlightenment.

There are
many symbols of the divine feminine archetype but this ancient Luncar
Goddess is one of the most familiar, and beloved. The Goddess is
symbolic of the regenerative, life giving forces of the Cosmos. She is
the keeper of wisdom and magical power, the spirit of Earth and the
Heavens. The Lunar Goddess represents the light within darkness and
enlightenment from ignorance. She gives us the ability to regenerate
ourselves anew and transform ourselves again and again.
