The Emerald Formula of Alchemy was
shown at East Field on August 25, 2008, in order to tell us about a
conjunction between Saturn and our Sun nine days later on September
4, 2008
A seven-pointed star which appeared in crops at East Field on August
25, 2008 bears a close resemblance to the famous Emerald Formula of
Alchemy, known also as Azoth of the Philosophers (see www.alchemylab.com/azoth.htm):
"The alchemists believed that a universal formula contained in that
Emerald Tablet was the basis for a spiritual technology first
introduced on our planet in ancient Egypt. It consisted of
seven consecutive operations to be performed on matter."
Hence the seven points of that star,
which have also been used sometimes to represent the Sun, Moon, and
five planets. But why did those crop artists show us the Emerald
Formula on August 25, 2008? Well, it was surrounded in the field by
nine balls at seven different locations. If we count forward
nine days from August 25, we arrive at September
4, 2008. Did anything significant happen on September 4, 2008?
Consulting a NASA website, we find (see
http://soc.jpl.nasa.gov/viewing.cfm):
"Saturn will
line up in conjunction with our Sun on
September 4, 2008.
Northern observers may spot Saturn
in the evening twilight in early August, but it will be
lost to a nearby
solar glare by the middle of
August."
Looking
again at that seven-pointed star (see above), it turns out that its
downward arrow (which matches point 1 from the Emerald Formula)
shows a fairly good representation of the traditional symbol for
planet Saturn. Three nearby bars could represent the planets
Mercury, Mars and Venus, which were also close to our Sun in early
September.
The
most fundamental Hermetic axiom of "as above, so below" was derived
long ago from that same Emerald Tablet (see
http://altreligion.about.com/od/hermetictradition1/a/emtablet.htm).
So by showing us what was happening in Earth's sky, while at the
same time showing us on the ground a seven-pointed star for the
Emerald Formula, seems extremely clever!
The
Emerald Tablet (or Stone) received its most recent popularization in
a book by Kiernan Antares called Phoenix Star. In that
book, "the heroine Maya is driven to discover her
connection to a prophecy about the Emerald Stone. It holds the power
to create a change required for humanity to survive a rare
astronomical alignment on December 21, 2012. She is one of four
chosen ones destined to activate the Stone, which will give birth to
the Phoenix Star, and lift humanity to a higher level of
enlightenment"
(see
www.kiernanantares.com/books.html).

Reconstruction of the
2008 East Field (4) formation

By Zef Damen
East Field of August 25
closely resembles the notes of Sir
Isaac Newton on alchemy
A
long forgotten "Emerald
Formula of Alchemy" was shown at East Field on August 25, 2008, by
means of a characteristic seven-pointed star which traditionally has
represented that formula. It stands symbolically for (a) seven steps
by which to convert base metals into gold, or (b) seven steps to
spiritual transformation. During medieval times, it also gained a
third meaning as (c) seven bright heavenly objects in Earth's sky,
namely the Sun, Moon and five major planets.
According to that last meaning, its primary arm "1" stands for
planet Saturn, which lined up with our Sun on September 4, 2008. Yet
because East Field was scheduled to be harvested somewhat earlier,
they laid down that seven-pointed star on August 25, and then
surrounded it by nine spiral balls (in seven locations) as if to
say: "wait nine days for the indicated astronomical event".
Now
this was not some New Age kind of mysticism, carved into the field
late at night by human fakers with boards! The Emerald Formula and
its seven-pointed star have a long and respected history in Earth
culture. Its most recent scientific proponent was Sir Isaac Newton,
who drew the Emerald Formula and its related Lapis Philosophicus in
his private notes. Indeed, while not busying himself with the
invention of optics, a reflecting telescope, gravity or calculus,
Newton spent a great deal of time probing into alchemy (see
www.world-mysteries.com/wm_dwp_phstone.htm):

"The Emerald Tablet was an ancient
text written on green stone,
purporting to reveal a secret of the primordial substance
or Prima Materia. It was
said to be the work of Hermes Trismegistus
from ancient Egypt, and was regarded by European alchemists
to be the foundation of
their art" (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_Tablet).
"The Philosopher's Stone or
Lapis Philosophicus was a legendary substance, supposedly
capable of turning base metals into gold. From a spiritual
viewpoint, creating a Philosopher's Stone would bring enlightenment,
and would complete the Great Work" (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosopher%27s_stone).
"The Great Work is a term from medieval alchemy that refers
to transmutation of base metals into gold, or to creation of a
Philosopher's Stone. It is sometimes used as a metaphor for
spiritual transformation" (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnum_opus).
Now what was the point of those
crop artists showing us an ancient and long-forgotten symbol for
chemical alchemy in East Field on August 25? No serious scientist
believes today that one can turn base metals into gold, except
perhaps in a powerful nuclear reactor. Their intent was therefore
more probably spiritual. Thus, the cryptic text from that ancient
Emerald Tablet told
us essentially to
become more aware of a
subtle, hidden spiritual world as a true
means to
enlightenment. One translation goes
as follows:
"Become subtle and know the heavenly. Then come back to Earth
and you will perceive the subtle. You will achieve the glory of
merging with the One, and rid yourself of ignorance."
Sir
Isaac Newton, a master of classical languages, translated that
Tablet to mean:
"That
which is below is like that
above, while that which
is above is like that below.
Separate fire from Earth,
subtle from gross,
sweetly with great industry.
It ascends from Earth
to heaven, then descends
again to Earth,
and receives the force of all
things. By this means
you will
gain the glory of the
whole world, and obscurity will
fly from you. It conquers
every subtle thing,
and penetrates every solid thing."
But
isn't that what Lao Tsu taught in ancient China about the Tao? Or
what modern physicists call the zero-point energy? New subatomic
particles can emerge from that unseen, penetrating sea of background
energy. Nicola Tesla wished to power the entire world from it.
Adherents of the Big Bang theory believe that our entire universe
once emerged from it. Could there be some mechanistic link
between modern quantum physics and the unseen spiritual world? Is
that where spirits live, as an alternative life form to our own?
Daniel Pinchbeck
commented in 2003:
"Reality, as you currently experience it, is something like a
waking dream. It is only a projection or interface, disguising
deeper levels of being and knowing. For those who are ready and
willing, the doors to those other levels now stand open.
The task of human existence is to transform the Earth: to
reconcile spirit with matter.
The
"Great Work"? I cannot help but wonder whether this is the spiritual
transformation that has been promised for us in late 2012. Will we
all become more aware of a hidden spiritual world, and less
concerned about money?

REPORT:
This circle
formation was first sighted in the very early morning of August 25th
2008. The diameter of the overall formation is approximately 500 feet.
This field was
being harvested as we were at the scene so time was limited for a very
close inspection of the circle.
On the ground
all the laid mature wheat crop within the formation was generally very
neatly swept down to the ground. However, a significant amount of random
damage to the formation was very apparent and was considered to be
consistent with previous visitor activities. “Construction lines” and
key points within the formation were also noted as being randomly
crushed. Due to the number of visitors to the circle, and time
restraints no clear objective conclusions were reachable at the site.
Many thanks to
the Carson family for allowing access to the circle.

First initial reaction is " The emergence of
the New World Order " The distinctive American dollar symbol in
the centre of the formation is apparent , the rest of the
formation points out an unforgettable piece of history. I
wouldn't be at all surprised if we get a final formation in the
first week of September. State of the art formation but stark

The inner triangle represents the head of fish
moving in a Westerly direction. The triangle behind the head of
the fish (with the designs) is the gills and moving tail. The two
triangles on either side of the body are fins. The fish has
completed 3 weeks of a 7 week journey. It will arrive at its
destination in 4 weeks. That is the meaning of the circles. They
represent 7 revolutions of the sun (a week). The circles behind
the fish are completed weeks. The circles in front of the fish
are weeks in the future. The journey will be over when all of
the circles are behind the fish and the fins next to and in
front of the fish have moved to the location of the fins which
are behind the fish. The triangles next to and in front of the
head represent movements of the fins which need to be
accomplished. Four more weeks until the fish arrives at its
destination in the West.If you notice, this fish looks like an
angelfish. “And the first angel sounded the trumpet, and there
followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was cast upon
the earth; and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and all
the green grass was burnt up.” (Rev.8:7) Four weeks.

I just checked to see what happened on August 4
(three weeks before the date that the circle appeared.)
Wikipedia says that this was the date of the destruction of the
second temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. The date of the diaspora
of the Jews.
Ta dum dum.

Also, there are seven angels with seven trumpets
in Revelations. These kick off the end of the world. At the
sounding of the seventh trumpet, “The temple of God in heaven
was opened, and there was seen the ark of his covenant in his
temple, and there came flashes of lightning, and peals of
thunder, and an earthquake, and great hail.” So this design
could be referring to the period from the destruction of the
earthly temple (Aug. 4) to the opening of the heavenly temple.

Just a couple more thoughts. Four weeks from
August 25 is September 22. This is the date of the Fall equinox
this year. That means that the sun will set directly in the West
on that date (arrival time of fish in the West). And, it has
been 7 years and 11 days since 9/11/2001. Here’s something even
more sketchy, but I’ll throw it in anyway. That date is called
Mabon by witches/pagans, which alludes to Nostradomas/ Mabus.
The Christians replaced the pagan celebration with the Feast of
St. Michael the Archangel, the leader of the angels who battled
against Satan. Of course the fish is an ancient symbol of Christ
and Christians.
third eye had better open swiftly and I think
that’s what’s being shown in this crop circle.
If you look at the large circle containing the
fish, it bisects seven other circles around the perimeter. Each
fin or point of the fish touches one of these circles. Then if
you assume that each of these circles is a globe, there is an
area between the northern hemisphere land masses where the
oceans would lie. This area sort of looks like seven arrows
pointing at the fish. These arrows also look like seven crosses.
Actually, they appear to be a particular kind of cross– a Celtic
cross. The Celtic cross has a circle at the top, and therefore
if you outlined it, it would look a lot like these arrows. There
is a place on earth were there were at one time seven “high”
crosses. This place is in County Clare in Ireland called
Kilfenora. Kilfenora lies at the southern edge of a place called
the Burren. The Burren is aprox 500 sq kilometres of solid
limestone rock containing many Neolithic burial sites. This
could echoes the idea of “all of the green grass being burnt
up.” In ancient times this area was agricultural , but this is
no longer possible as it now possesses no top soil, only rock.
At one time it was under the sea, but now it is arid.
The time of the arrival of the fish (September
22) , besides being the Autumn equinox is also widely recognized
as the time of the Fall harvest. Maybe the message is the
warning of a poor harvest.
September means “seventh month” because it was
the seventh month in the old Roman
calendar. September was dedicated to the god Vulcan, the god of
fire. “And the
third part of the earth was burnt up.”
This is also the time of year (late September
and early October) that the Jews celebrate their New Year, Rosh
Hashanah. …In the seventh month, on the first of the month,
there shall be a sabbath for you, a remembrance with shofar
blasts, a holy convocation. -Leviticus 16:24 The arrows/crosses
could also look like horns. The shofar is used in Scripture to
announce the coronation of a king (1 Kings 1:39, Psalm 47:5,
Psalm 98:6). Because of the significance of the number 7, Tishri
being the seventh month, 7 being the number of completion, it is
thought that Tishri is the yearly anniversary of God’s
completion of creation - marking the anniversary of the
coronation of the King of the Universe, the commemoration of the
sixth and final day of creation, the day on which God created
man.
It is believed that on Rosh Hashanah, three
books are opened up in heaven, based on an idea expressed in
Hosea 14:1-9. Those who have returned to God are inscribed in
the Book of Righteousness. Those who are wholly wicked, and
destined for destruction are inscribed in the Book of the
Wicked. All others are recorded in the third book and have ten
more days in which to repent. The fate of every individual for
the coming year is then determined on Yom Kippur. The destiny of
every individual for the coming year is said to be preordained
on this day.
The period between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
is called “The Ten Days of Repentance,” during which people have
the opportunity to atone for their sins.
Would God choose to begin the destruction of the
world on the day which commemorates the completion of creation?
Seven has always been a mystical/sacred number.
There are seven days in Creation, seven days in the week, seven
graces, seven deadly sins, seven divisions in the Lord’s Prayer,
and seven ages in the life of man, and the seventh son of a
seventh son and in the lore of folk magic, the seventh son of a
seventh son is believed to be born with formidable magical and
healing powers. Among the Hebrews, every seventh year was
sabbatical, and seven times seven years was the jubilee. The
three great Jewish feasts lasted seven days; and between the
first and second were seven weeks. Levitical purifications
lasted seven days. In the Apocalypse, there are seven churches
of Asia, seven candlesticks, seven stars, seven trumpets, seven
spirits before the throne of God, seven horns, seven vials,
seven plagues, a seven-headed monster, and the Lamb with seven
eyes. There are seven seas: the Arctic and Antarctic, North and
South Pacific, North and South Atlantic, and the Indian Ocean.
Ancient astronomers/astrologers recognized only seven planets.
There are many other associations with the number seven, I’m
only listing a few.

My husband pointed out that the seven circles
descending from the large circle look like cornucopias, another
symbol of the harvest.
And, I forgot to mention that the crosses which appear to be
Celtic crosses also look like Roman Catholic crosses which are
covered
Judy
27|Aug|2008 26
I forgot to mention that the crosses which I
described as Celtic crosses/shofars also look like Roman
Catholic crosses which are covered during the last two weeks of
Lent (Passion week and Holy week). These weeks delineate the
Catholic High Holy Days (as it were), the most solemn and
penitential days of the Catholic calendar. So the holiest and
most penitential time of both the Christian and the Jewish year
is depicted in the circle.
Judy
27|Aug|2008 27
This will be my last post. I think that this is
a very odd crop circle. I have looked at many, but I have never
seen another one like this one. Usually there is nothing that
could be so easily interrpreted symbolically as there is in this
one. I’m just going to summarize what I believe this means. The
crop circle is delineating a period of time (either actually or
symbolically) that covers the period from August 4 (the
destruction of the temple of Jerusalem/the diaspora) until
September 22 (the fall equinox/harvest festival/Michaelmas/Rosh
Hashanah). The circle is a warning to repent. Just as the
equinox equally divides the day and the night, the light and the
dark, something is about to happen which will sift the good from
the evil in a decisive manner. Just as the Shofar and the Cross
of Christ call one to repentance, this circle is calling for
repentance before the angel blasts the trumpet signaling the
beginning of the end. If I’m interpreting it correctly, 1/3 of
all the earth will be “burned up.” The new landscape will
resemble the area of the Burren in Ireland. I believe this is
going to happen on September 22.
When the walls come a tumbling down: Joshua
6:4-5 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets
of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city
seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And
it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the
ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the
people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city
shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man
straight before him.
