Could this be sign of hope from above in these troubled
times?
This huge Celtic cross appeared in a
field on Etchilhampton Hill in Wiltshire. The size is over
eight tram lines in width and about twice as long in length.
Within the cross is spiral imagery which takes us back to
ancient times. Very impressive indeed.

Spirituality and astronomy
combined at Etchilhampton Hill: the Celtic Cross and eclipses
A new
crop picture from Etchilhampton Hill on August 15, 2008 has
attracted much attention, due to its apparently Christian
symbolism. Other crop pictures in the past have shown Aztec-Mayan
symbolisms or Jewish symbolisms, but few if any Christian. What
could this mean, and why was such a picture shown to us now?
The
overall shape of that picture resembles a "Celtic cross", such as
those found at Pere Lachaise in France, or Farr in Scotland:
Yet
cross-like symbolisms were not unique to the ancient Middle East or
Europe. Thus we can find many "cross" symbols also in ancient
central American culture, especially regarding the World Tree at
Palenque, or the sarcophagus lid of Pacal the Great:
In Mayan culture, that cross symbol had
a distinctly astronomical meaning, in terms of a cross-like
intersection between the bright starry plane of our Milky Way, and
an intersecting dark rift near its center in Sagittarius (see
http://2stroker.org/fap2.html or
http://alignment2012.com/whatisGA.htm).
Our Sun will intercept that rift in December of 2012 as seen from
Earth.
Hence one can see two
possible meanings for the new crop picture from
Etchilhampton Hill: astronomical and/or spiritual. Let us first
examine its astronomical meaning, before we consider its
spiritual. The new crop picture appeared on August 15, 2008, which
was just one day before a near-total lunar eclipse on August 16,
2008 at 2110 UT:
Using
Google Earth and long-range photographs, I was able to estimate that
tramlines in the field where it appeared lie at geographical
alignments of approximately 67 and 247 degrees. Next along the long
axis of that "cross", its long arm seems to be oriented
approximately at 42 degrees, while its short arm lies close to 222
degrees (direct field measurements would be welcome).
Now at
maximum eclipse on August 16, our Moon was located at an azimuth
of 134 degrees (only 14 degrees above the horizon), while our Sun
was located at an azimuth of 314 degrees (see
http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/LunarEclipse.php).
The eclipse occurred shortly after sunset when our Sun set at 292
degrees (see
http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/AltAz.php).
Thus the two short arms of that cross point with fair precision
toward where the Moon and/or Sun were located during mid-eclipse.
But would anyone have expected such a magnificent picture to have
been plonked down in the field purely at random?
We may
now confirm such a tentative association between Etchilhampton Hill
of August 15, and the lunar eclipse of August 16, by looking closely
at fine details within the cross itself:
One can see there a series of
small balls and S-shapes, which match precisely another crop
picture that appeared earlier in 2008 on June 20 at Furze
Knoll (see www.cropcircleconnector.com/2008/furze/furze2008.html).
Furze Knoll was clearly an eclipse picture, which reminded
us that the Sun, Moon and Earth line up to create solar or
lunar eclipses twice in any 50 weeks, or once in any 25
weeks. Those brief periods are known as "eclipse seasons".
Now if we count how many
eclipse seasons of 25 weeks appear in the new picture from
Etchilhampton Hill, we can find 6 S-shaped symbols along its
long axis, or 4 S-shaped symbols along its short axis, to
give a total of ten. Hence from
August 15, 2008 until some important time in our near
future, when the "Christian cross" symbol may become
relevant, we can count 10 x 25 = 250 weeks or approximately
4.8 years.
Indeed, there was an eclipse season in 2008 on August 1-16, and
there will be another in 2013 on April 25-May 10 which lies
4.8 years distant. Counting individually, one can find a series of
ten eclipse seasons between now and then as 0 =
August 2008, 1 = January 2009, 2 =
July 2009, 3 = January 2010, 4 =
July 2010, 5= January 2011, 6 =
June 2011, 7 = November 2011, 8 =
July 2012, 9 = November 2012 or 10
= May 2013 (see http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/solar.html or
http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/lunar.html).
In
summary, the new crop picture from Etchilhampton Hill is in one
sense a "Celtic cross", but in another sense it tells us that only
"ten eclipse seasons remain" until an end to Mayan Long Count
calendar on December 21-23, 2012, or an end to their Sun-Venus
calendar on March 28, 2013. Several other crop pictures from August
2008 give the same message of "4.8 years", using alternative
astronomical symbolisms (to be reported elsewhere).
Having
dealt with the astronomical, let us now return to the spiritual. I
have tried not to place any undue religious emphasis on this new
crop picture, in order to remain fully objective with respect to all
current religions on Earth. But it does show a Christian cross,
dated apparently for a time in our future less than five years away.
And so I will conclude with one brief phrase from the Christian New
Testament that seems most relevant to what we have just observed:
"At that time, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky,
and all of the nations on Earth will mourn."---Gospel of
Matthew, Chapter 24, verse 30.
Jesus
would often refer to himself as the "Son of Man", a phrase
introduced by the prophet Daniel in Babylon around 550 BC, meaning
"of humanity" or "Earth born".

Close parallels between
Christian and Mayan symbolism
The new crop picture from Etchilhampton Hill
shows clear Christian symbolism---"there will be signs on the
Earth"---but also shows Mayan symbolism as well. Thus when Cortez
and other Spanish invaders conquered central America around 1520 AD,
they were shocked to find "crosses" in some of the native holy sites
(see
HERE or
HERE). They also heard legends of the Flood, and saw rituals of
child baptism. All of these seemed to originate from a visit to
central America by white missionaries and teachers around 60 AD (see
"In Search of Quetzalcoatl" by Pierre Honore, 1961). The new picture
also matches closely in style an astronomical eclipse glyph that
appeared at Furze Knoll on June 20, 2008, thereby suggesting that
both were made by the same artist.

FIELD REPORT ETCHILHAMPTON - THE CELTIC CROSS
By Janet Ossebaard
This formation
took everyone’s breath away. Not only was its design sheer perfect,
its dimensions were overwhelming. Standing on top of Etchilhampton
Hill and looking down on this incredible pattern in the wheat field,
one could only be silent.
7 large circles in length and 5 in width
spread over an area as big as
3 football stadiums…
Inside, the wheat
had been flattened in an interesting manner. As my photos show, not
all of the stems had been pushed to ground level. Quite a few had
been effected by the energy but never reached the soil, whereas
others seem to have been totally neglected by the energy source
responsible for the creation of this humongous formation. At first
glance the lay seemed somewhat messy, but upon closer inspection I
noticed many cases of interwoven layers of wheat plants, indicating
various energy flows coming together simultaneously from different
directions. Another point of interest were numerous biophysical
anomalies such as expulsion cavities (‘blown nodes’), elongated and
swollen plant nodes, another indication of the presence of an energy
force instead of a mechanical force. I could find no traces of
stomping boards.
Every circle had its
own feel to it, I noticed I felt most at home in the central one:
the one forming the heart of the cross. I laid there for over an
hour, simply not wanting to leave… When I met Cosmic Dave in that
circle, he told me an amazing personal story about an ancient Celtic
Cross that was discovered by his late father and that vanished
one day mysteriously
from his pocket. He felt the Circle Makers had returned the cross to
him and felt incredibly grateful and touched…
While I was taking
my pole shots, a beautiful rainbow halo appeared around the sun
right above my head. I have seen this on many occasions and have
become convinced this is not just a random meteorological
phenomenon. The number of times I have seen this occur above a crop
formation outnumbers by far the number of times I have seen it
elsewhere. Is the energy column reaching high into the sky (noticed
repeatedly by pilots who fly straight over the formations)
responsible for the appearance of these halos?
Flying over this
beauty took my breath away. How can one describe the feeling it
caused on a heart and soul level? My 80-200 mm. lens was simply not
wide-angled enough for these dimensions, so I had to ask the pilot
to keep climbing higher and higher. Finally I got the perfect shot,
not only did it fill the picture fully and beautifully, it also
received plenty of sunrays in a play of the clouds with light and
dark.
Could this be the
Gran Finale of the season? Or, as it appeared in the same night as
the variation on the Star of David, did we receive a twofold Gran
Finale? Or will there be more this season? Many wheat fields are not
ready for harvest yet, due to the excessive rain this year. Time
will tell, and there’s only little time left before the wheat fields
are finally cut and the canvas of the Circle Makers is no more…

Some Examples of Celtic Crosses. |
|
This surely is the pinnacle of designs.
Celtic in design, a cross nonetheless will surely embrace faiths
through out the world.. Will the PRESS and TV ignore this one!?
Yet another gift with another yet to come before the season
ends, that I'm sure. This might be of some
interest, I was listening to some music last night and I just
simply couldn't believe what I was hearing.......
Sound track by ENIGMA - The Cross of Changes - Here are the
simple lyrics: -
"The Cross Of Changes"
If you understand or if you don't
If you believe or if you doubt
There's a universal justice
And the eyes of truth
Are always watching you.

In the diagram,
the cross (a universal symbol of Christianity) is composed of 11
circles, an obvious allusion to Comet B before the nucleus splits.
In the background is a staple black circle, indicating that the
cross will be physically damaged by the comet. This refers to the
official organizations of the religion, and perhaps the physical
infrastructure as well. In fact, certain denominations will suffer
dissolution and only reform later after the period of peace for this
century commences around its midpoint (c. 2050). What will be
permanently destroyed is the anti-Christ version of the religion.
The curved lines connecting the 11 circles are a familiar depiction
of a ring or coma for each circle, or in some cases, an orbit around
the earth. Here they emphasize the interconnectedness of the
purposes of each fragment.
The death and
rebirth of Christianity in the 21st century represents
the end of the Sardis period and the beginning of the Philadelphia
period in Rev. 3:1-13. But without a physical appearance of Christ,
the rebirth won’t occur. This in fact won’t be the true second
coming where Christ judges the nations, only a brief divine
intervention in human history to save what can be saved, and
initiate the Kingdom of God, or civil government, based on the words
and laws of Christ revealed then.
