Inspirational Sculpture Show in
Crop Circle Country.
This is the
second Sculpture Show to be held at Puthall Park near Marlborough. The
first Show held in 2004 attracted over 2000 visitors. As then it was graced
by a small crop circle in the field opposite. The organisers of this event
have made great use of this fantastic setting in which to place a great
range of thought provoking works by many artists.
This was
truly an enriching experience for all those who visited Puthall Park. The
Show finished on the 18th of June but the circle will stay
around till the harvester turns up later in the season.

From the aerial images and a few ground shots taken
it seems like a logo, with crop cut rather than flattened. A
similar formation was reported on the same stretch of road back in 2004.
We visited the previous formation back in 2004 and confirm the crop was
cut and not flattened

This location was visited on the 24th
June 2004 and it was discovery that it was a crop shape created for a
commercial product. THIS IS NOT A CROP CIRCLE. The Crop was cut not
flattened. |

I have enclosed
a photograph of a poster on the verge on the opposite side of the A4 to
the formation, although I suspect you know about it already.
Just for reference the actual map reference for the formation is closer to
SU238676 and it is about half a mile west of Scrope's Wood. Its near
Puthall Park. Russell

I am
a regular visitor to this site, and only live a few miles from the
Circles cafe. Yesterday, whilst going out of Marlborough towards
Hungerford, i think I may have seen a small formation in a field.
Now I'm not sure, as i have never actually seen one 'in the flesh'
so to speak, and i was driving past at, obviously, the national
speed limit, so it was only a glance. I'm not sure of the name of
the place i was driving through, but its was on a right hand bend,
where there is a petrol station, and an Indian Restaurant on the
left hand side, and the circle (if that's what it was) was
opposite, on the right on a fields hillside.
