Field Report at Hundred Acres by
Mike Callahan (July 3rd)
I did my field report early on Sunday
evening. The formation had already had many people visit it so
there were parts that had been trampled on quite considerably.
Never-the-less there was much of interest in this formation. Before
I entered I checked out the squares outside the main formation. They
had a nest in the middle, swirled but not too tightly. The lay was
in a clockwise direction. I entered a couple without damaging the
lines of crop and there was no multi layering.

I then entered the actual formation. The lay was
that of a sweeping swirling clockwise motion. There were some stems
still standing but not as many as the formation at Avebury. However,
we must bear in mind that many people had visited during the day.
There were lots of broken stems as well caused by the many visitors.
After checking out the nodes I moved into the
centre section of the formation. I checked out the various squares
and rectangles. Some of the squares had standing nests. These nests
varied in density and were generally standing stems and not
entwined. However, some of the squares had a flattened nest. The
crop was swirled but pressed down on the earth. My first thoughts
were that they were flattened by visitors but on further
investigation there appeared to be a pattern. The squares that had
standing nests had a clockwise swirl/lay but all the squares with
flattened nests had an anti-clockwise swirl. There was some evidence
of multi layering as can be seen by the photograph. One of the
images shows two squares right next to each other showing this
effect.
On entering the rectangles with standing crop,
the lay was generally neat and tidy and again in a clockwise
swirling direction.
I spent some time examining the nodes of the crop
inside and outside the formation. Although not as prevalent as some
other formations there were lots of stems bent at the nodes and also
they appeared to be enlarged when compared to others outside the
formation. Many stems were warped and kinked. I found no evidence of
blown out nodes.

There were some other points of interest. I have
just noticed something as I am writing this and looking at the
photographs. The photograph below appears to have a circular mark on
it. I didn’t notice it before. I know little about photograph
anomalies so I can’t say if it is ‘normal’ or otherwise but others
may be more qualified to give an opinion. I thought it was worth
including anyway.

Also, as I was leaving I had a brief chat with an
experienced dowser. He very kindly shared many amazing things that
he had discovered about eight new energy lines running through
various points in the formation. I can’t really discuss that in
depth as I am not a dowsing expert but what he shared was very
interesting.
