The Green Man? We visited the eight pointed star formation at
Hundred Acres (East Field), Alton Priors, on August 7, and when
reviewing our photographs that evening saw some images of a face
framed by the central tufts. We wonder what you think of this and
hope it is of interest.

These pictures are of the internal structure of the
East Field Formation. I didn't measure the diameter of the formation I
am sure others will. It is a great formation with lots of different
aspects within it. The lay is a bit messy in parts but doesn't take
anything away from it. There are grape shots around the circumference
with a tuft in the middle of each, quite enchanting. I met a young
Australian couple here experiencing their first crop formation they
were, as you can see, quite excited by it all. I found this to be one of
the best I have seen this year so far. I expect the Trolls on the forum
will rubbish it as usual but who listens to them anyway.
