Op Art Formations appear near Aldbourne
The two intricate circles
that have appeared near the village of Aldbourne could be paying homage
to the optical school of art of the1960’s by such artists like Bridget
Riley and Victor Vasarely. These circles encourage us to look again at
this wonderful school of artists.
These two formations and the
one that appeared at
Shalbourne at the end of last season on the 8th of August
2004 all have this marvellous characteristic. They seem, to me at least,
to be implying other force fields and other dimensions that surround us
all. Most of us live our lives pretty much unaware of these influences.
These three apparently
unpretentious but very precise formations carry a powerful message to us
all and let us have a small glimpse of the unseen forces that surround
us all.
