I did fly over the formation yesterday (13 May) , even though it was cloudy, visibility was good. A strange looking glyph indeed,  seemingly contrived to align accurately with the top of Deacon Hill, which overlooks Pegsdon, and from the top of which it is clearly visible. I did not enter it as, being now 10 days old, previous entrants would have spoilt the lay and crushed the stems obliterating any clues to its provenance, and there was also little time. Lovely walk from the road car park, about one third of a mile away from the formation

I have seen the formation from the top of Deacon Hill and enclose a photograph of it. It is east of the hill at map ref TL130297. The weather at the moment has been too bad to go flying. It will try and get up during the next week, but I cannot guarantee it.

I have taken some photos from Deacon Hill and been in the formation. It seems to be two interlocking circles forming a figure of eight with another circle inside the first of the larger circles. there is an elliptical 'teardrop' almost like a pendant at the base of the first circle and the symbol is mirror image spirals that are joined above the teardrop and inside the enclosed circle. I don't have a digital camera so can't e mail you any pictures could scan in a drawing I made if you like. It was hard to follow the pattern inside without really knowing what I was looking at-there is a nice lay ,no breakages, the lay swirls around the formation and changes direction with some laid on top of others  going in a different direction. No sign of footprints-any welly prints are mine! No sign of entry. It's in the next field to last years formation.
