UPDATE
One of the earlier reports suggested that this formation might be a Celtic Knot design - and
that's exactly what we have!
The diagrams here are based upon Andrew King's aerial shot. May I take this opportunity of
publicly thanking Andrew for this. An aerial shot was badly required on this occasion as a
decent viewpoint couldn't be found.
Because the farmer is not allowing access - not even to measure, the diagrams are not 100%
accurate, but they're fairly close.

Kent's second formation for the year 2000 may be glimpsed from the M20 between Wrotham
and Farningham, London bound. Laid out in barley close to a copse, this is quite a large
tri-circular formation which includes interesting angular features in its centre. Once again, this
formation, like the Farningham one, has proved quite to difficult to photograph. It needs to be
flown over. Can anyone oblige please?
The farmer, who has had formations on his land in previous years, will not give permission for
anyone to enter. Respecting this, we could not get any interior shots, but managed to get
these shots from the road-side. The young barley appears to be already springing up.
Yet again, another Kent formation has been laid down in close proximity to the ancient
Pilgrim's Way. (In '99 we had similar at Lenham, Trottiscliffe and Borstal).
Both the Kent formations have parked themselves close to the busy M20 motorway ... what a
way to ensure maximum attention!

A second formation for Kent in barley this time, although it has only been viewed from half way up a tree I understand! Will try to get some more details as soon as possible.

There is a report of a new formation in Kent. It's been described as
a 300ft 'Celtic knot' and it's in barley. It's located near Wrotham,
Kent on the M20. If you were London bound on the M20 it would be on your left. It sounds pretty impressive... might be worth flying over
if you, or someone else get the chance...
