Evidence". This photograph is one of the first showing the interest shown
by the British Military helicopters. Pairs of circles with these proportions were
seen regularly in the early years - these were found in a field with others and also a set
of three circles forming a straight line (see here).
The smallest was 4.4 metres dia a/c with a swirl of 0.5 revs, the largest was 8.2 metres,
