C & F  Phenomenon Research Field Report

A wonder @ Woodborough Hill nr Alton Priors, Wiltshire. Reported 13/8/00 (Mature Wheat)

Wow, nothing could have prepared us for the sight that
greeted us as we rounded the top of Woodborough Hill, the
day this spectacular formation arrived on the scene.
Situated in a field of very mature wheat just below the summit
of the hill is, what can only be described as a mind boggling
array of several hundred shapes that, together create one of
the most ambitious and awe inspiring crop formations I
have had the pleasure to experience.

The sheer scale and scope of our latest marvel, (approx) 250ft
diameter and containing 600+ standing & downed sections, with all it's inherent depth, beauty and meaning, has left me in no doubt that whatever is responsible for the circles, is working to an agenda that's nudging us, at an ever increasing
rate towards a far more comprehensive and complete way
of understanding ourselves, that, by implication, moves
us into a position to much better understand our place within
the larger picture that appears to be unfolding before us in
increasingly overt ways.

What this formation appears to be is a perfect representation
of growth, as seen throughout nature on many physical &
indeed, metaphysical levels, taking examples such as a
sunflower head or a pine cone makes the physical pattern
instantly recognizable as a geometric wonder from nature,
incorporating very sophisticated concepts in mathematics
and geometry such as the golden section. On the
more metaphysical side of things, this formation can just as
easily be applied to growth, of the spirit or soul, on an upward
( I hope ) spiral of knowing and understanding, as individuals,
or in the macro sense, as a species. This idea of the evolution
and development of us ,as humans is, as far as I can gather,
the prime motivation driving the real circle makers on, to ever
more elaborate, meaningful and  expressive designs,
designs that continue to capture the imagination of growing
numbers of people across the globe.

At the current rate of development of the circles , I feel,
the government, media & corporation alliance that keeps a
tight grip on it's version of nature & reality will come under
increasing pressure to lay off the crap and start telling some
truth regarding the anomalous nature of the crop circles and
related global phenomena. This I feel, would make rather a
pleasant change from the usual tired explanations that just
don't measure up to our, on the ground experience, in
virtually all the formations we work on, in any given
season.

For such a seamless & precise event to manifest in our
corn is quite a major occurrence, that from a logistics point of
view alone, should be enough to raise serious questions from
anybody who sees the aerial images. As can be seen from
those stunning overhead shots, there are no faults or mistakes
in the construction of this formation at all. On the ground the
story is much the same with all the wheat very neatly laid
down with a tidy, clean cut finish. Within the central downed
circle, at it's center are three tightly woven nest style features
that tended to draw attention away from the expansive pattern
around us, this was somewhat a relief, things did get a little
confusing  at times in the formation. I found it almost
impossible to walk in straight lines, one seemed to be drawn
through the spirals rather than going straight through the
provided gaps. Getting to the center of this crop circle proved
to be quite a bizarre experience in itself.

On the night of the arrival of the formation there was a number
of circle researchers positioned on the top of Woodborough
Hill equipped with night scopes and other sophisticated
hardware. At (approx) 2300hrs some very odd and apparently
anomalous balls of light were seen in close proximity to
where the formation was soon to appear. These lights were
observed and recorded on film by those present. This whole
event, which included the lights changing color and size,
rapidly pulsing and displaying very unusual characteristics,
lasted for (approx) half an hour, I am not sure how much was
captured on tape or the qualities of that recording. At midnight
the fields were checked for a final time before the watchers
departed the scene.

No doubt those who had been on the hill the previous night
gave themselves a good kicking for not staying up for the
main event of the evening, what a bummer.

This formation taken as a whole, must be considered one of
the most spectacular crop circles ever to appear.  I would very
strongly recommend  a visit to this crop circle, only this way
can the scale and complexity be fully appreciated - amazing!
