Formation in oilseed-rape between Lockeridge & Alton Barnes, Wiltshire.

A formation has arrived in a field of oilseed-rape close to the famous crop circle location of Alton Barnes. We think the glyph is a couple of days old at the most, arrived possible 13/5/00.

After walking up a very overgrown tramline we found ourselves in a triangle measuring, 49 - 49 - 28 feet. Coming off one corner is a smaller triangle measuring,21 - 21 - 20 feet. there is some interesting layering but on the most part it is quite simple. For such a simple formation it had a very big feel factor. we felt ourselves rather fortunate to have visited this one. If you can take the pollen attack it is well worth a visit.

We have received some information from a correspondent that
we think is worth adding to our original report above.

Apparently yesterday, 18/5/00 the planets Venus, Jupiter and
Saturn were at 21 degrees 20 degrees, and 21degrees
respectively of Taurus. This bears an obvious relationship to the
small triangle of this formation. Maybe this is a purely random
occurrence or maybe it is a purposeful design feature of the
formation. We are not in a position to say one way or the other
but feel this is an anomaly worth reporting on
