Here are some views of the Chehalis, Washington 1996 formation. We (my wife Sherry and I), were contacted by Nancy Talbot of the B.L.T. research team, on the 26th July about getting samples and photos as the farmer was supposed to cut the field on Sunday the 28th. I don't know if he did. as on Saturday A.M. Hal (the Farmer) was planning to cut today which is the 31st July 1996.

From the ground, this formation seems to have both pluses and minuses as to it's authenticity. Most stalks are broken and there were only two or three nodes that seemed to be burned or pitted. Much of flow of crop in the circles is snaking and there is some overlapping of lay which looks good.

Dowsing produced very different movement of the rods in most segments of the formation.

From the air, the rings of the "thought bubbles" look very poor. There are places where they are almost straight rather than a smooth curve.

There were three teams of researchers doing measurements and sampling. It was very hot (95 degrees) and dry, so we took turns at the work.

Regardless of anyone's opinion of Dr. Levengood methods of testing, we will reserve final judgement until he tests the samples.
