DESCRIPTION:
Four circles
(largest = 7.5m diameter, smallest = 2.5 diameter) and one oval (3.8m x
3.1m); overall length = 15m. This 8th formation in southern
Holland is the second one this year in barley, and occurred during a
light rain. No mud was found on the flattened plants, all of which are
laid counter-clockwise. The smallest circle has a standing tuft and one
of the other small circles has a markedly off-centre centre. The oval
has a circular centre, but an oval perimeter—a feature which has been
present in many of the Dutch circles in recent years and specifically in
a field very near this one in which (in 2010) burned seed-heads were
also found in a formation (http://www.bltresearch.com/robbert/seedheads2011.php).
As has been the case in every circle
found in southern Holland this year Robbert v/d Broeke could feel this
formation was coming. At around 11pm on the night of June 25th
he suddenly saw a very strong flash of light in his “mind’s eye,”
followed by an image of the field & the formation which “zapped into”
his forehead. This time, however, the image of this formation did not
dissipate as they usually do, but persisted in his head for quite a long
time. He also experienced the sensation of “hanging in the air”
overlooking the road, like he was “up in a tree.”
He reported that while “up in the air”
the image of the field and the formation suddenly changed to a negative
image (as in a black & white film negative) and he became aware of a
“metal” taste in his mouth “like the taste of blood.” For a moment or
two he felt an incredible happiness, as if both his consciousness and
his body had suddenly connected with—had actually merged into—the
consciousness of the whole universe.
As in the past he called his neighbor,
Ellen Gomis, and she drove them to the area where Robbert “knew” the
formation would be. Robbert reports that while standing in one of the
circles he saw (visually) a white figure floating over the field and
Ellen, while actually standing in one of the smaller circles saw the
circle around her light up like daylight for just a second. Later, when
she had left the field she turned back and briefly saw a whole section
of the field light up like daylight again.
[For other reports of light phenomena
associated w/Dutch circles see bottom of Robbert’s BLT “Home” page:
http://www.bltresearch.com/robbert.php.]
Many Dutch farmers are angered by the
circle phenomenon and, so, Ellen and Robbert do not take cameras with
them when they are out at night looking for new circles. They worry that
the camera flash would call attention to their presence, possibly
resulting in their being accused of making the circles themselves. Roy
Boschman has done a terrific job of arriving at the new formations at
first light the following morning, taking photos when the circles are
only hours old.
