The discovery of a new crop circle formation at Gallo D'Alba – between Barolo and Alba – in the Italian province of Cuneo, region Piemonte was reported to the Swiss crop circle research group "KORE’S“ by Mr. Gerhard Meyer. The formation was discovered on May 26, 2006, in a field of barley.

The formation represents the geometrical symbol of a "Vesica Pisces“ – two overlapping rings with the intersection flattened. Each ring measured about 20 meters in diameter giving the formation a maximum width of about 30 meters. The ring facing in direction of the passing road was about 0.9 meters wide and the opposite ring - in direction of the trees - measured about 0,6 meters width.

The formation in Rocchetta Belbo, in province of Cuneo (Piemonte), was discovered on 19th May. It's in barley. There are four circles: the big one (5-6 metres) have half of its part with flattened crop; the second one have a little circle in its centre; the other two circles are smaller. (in this picture you can see the first two circles). The farmer has not heard and saw nothing at all. Thanks to Magherita Campaniolo for send us the article by "Il Giornale del Piemonte" and to Manuela Arami from "La Stampa" ed. Cuneo
