This formation is located on the road that runs from Crawley to Rookley Manor in Hampshire. The location we would say is just about closest to the village of Up Somborne than any other village in the area, and is on the left hand side of the road as you travel towards Rookley Manor. The formation is in barley, and we would guess that it is about two weeks old now. Most of the crop has recovered. The formation must be at least 200ft in diameter. From the road it looks like the formation may have had concentric rings included in its design. Unfortunately there is not much left to photograph so a flight is not planed over this formation. It is surprising that this formation was not reported earlier as it must have been very visible from the road at one point when it first appeared. Saying that, the location is not one that has had crop circles in the past as far as we can remember. We remember one appearing close to Crawley sometime ago in the past. One that got away!
