I went to see the formation at Avebury Trusloe on Sunday, it is just up in the next field from last years formation. There is an Honesty Box for the Farmer's inconvenience.

The formation was full of people, from crop circle researchers to inquisitives and crop circle tourists from across the pond. This made it difficult for photographing because they were draped all over the circles within the formation.

The formation is well made, the lays are neat with good crossing at junctions. I didn't see board marks but I wasn't really looking for them. There is a strong energy line running through the formation, this is the Mary serpent line on its way to Windmill Hill and eventually to Avebury and Silbury. You can read about this in The Sun and the Serpent by Paul Broadhurst and Hamish Miller.

It was difficult to get a feeling from this event mostly because of the loud chattering and laughter of the visitors. One interesting little aside, my sister who is a martyr to arthritic knee joints felt no pain in the time she was in the formation, Spooky.

In all I enjoyed this CC despite the difficulties.
