Wouldham Glyph

This is a very subtle and elegant glyph with esoteric meanings. I created an interpretive tool using the Mayan Tzolkin and Aztec Tonalpohualli in interpreting architecture of American Archaeology. I named it the Tzolkin Lunar Solar Device and explain its usage in my book Sipapuni. However one can overlay this device over a site and instantaneously see if there are any obvious astronomical aspects in the design.

Wouldham intrigued me and I overlaid my device over this glyph. The results are: When one of the planetoids are pointed due north or south the bifurcations of the six petaled lotus is directly in the rising and setting of the winter solstice and lunar events (south) or summer solstice (north). The equinoxes are also represented.

I have colour coded the solstices and lunar events in red and the equinoxes in blue. The six petaled lotus represents the reproduction charka or kundalini. Hence the interaction of the sun and the moon within the bifurcations.
