Reconstruction of the
2005 Marden (2) formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed 18-sided regular polygon of circle 1, pointing to the right.

3. Construct a circle centered at the rightmost angular point of polygon 2, passing through the fourth angular points (up and down) from this point, as shown.

4. Copy circle 3 seventeen times, to the other angular points of polygon 2.

5. Construct the circumscribed 18-sided regular polygon of circle 1, pointing to the right.

6. Construct the circumscribed circle of polygon 5.

7. Construct two circles centered at the intersections of circle 6 and the horizontal centerline, each passing through the center of the other (Vesica Pisces).

8. Circles 3, 4, 6 and 7 are enough for the final reconstruction.

9. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.

10. Colouring all areas corresponding to standing...

11. ...or to flattened crop, will finish the reconstruction of the 2005 Marden (2) formation.

12. The final result, matched with the aerial image.
