The latest design, situated very close the large formation that appeared early on in the season, was quite a departure from its neighbour. I use this word correctly as it formed directly in the next field further up towards the A4 road to Calne. Its design has close connections to the Windmill Hill formation in 1996, which also incorporated diminishing circles, with smaller circles either side of each circle. On entering the pattern, there were small signs of mud at certain intervals around the outer ring, but the central circle was a lot cleaner in appearance. Its certainly didnt have the quality of Windmill Hill in 96, but from the air, it has a refined edge to its appearance. Report by Stuart Dike |
