On June 20, 1999, local researchers were informed about 'a circle' between Gleichen and Dorla in Hessen. Arrived at the location there was no circle but while walking into some of fields, local researchers discovered a huge formation in a field of barley. The formation is made of a huge outer ring created by 110 ( ! ) connected semi rings creating a meandering path. Inside these paths the flow looks very fluid as also the plants ears follow this flow. A semi ring connects this outer ring with the central element that is made of two standing circles, surrounded by a crescent and a ring with a comet-like circle attached to its inside. hard to describe, so wait for the taken aerials - I have the feeling that those aerials will show an impressive formation. The overall diameter is about 60 m.
The same day another formation was discovered just 250 m away in the next field. A survey and photos, including aerials, were taken. I hope to be able to update this report with before I am leaving to England.
