FIRST CROP CIRCLES OF 1997
IN HOLLAND.

In the North of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Noord) 3 circles appeared in a grassfield between two blocks of flats near the IJ on the 18th of January. The IJ is the harbour of Amsterdam.

The circles were 6 centimetres deep , perfectly round and 90 centimetres in diameter.

Two were lying close to each other and the 3rd one 100 meters away. The person who discovered the circles had not seen them the day before. As there was still about 30 centimetres frost in the ground Mid-January it must have been difficult to 'make' or 'fake' them. There were no cranes or other digging instruments near to explain the circles. Johan Roland of the Dutch CCCS went to investigate and took pictures.

Thank you for the Report :-) Anneco
