A small circle ( 12.5 m in diameter ) discovered in late July in wheat near the village of Lhota ( 10 km south of Plzen where SIRIUS is based ). The circle is an example of what we had already seen in England ( namely the Rose at Clatford ) - the bent stalks started to straighten up so that the whole circle began to disappear in the ripening crop. The difference was only about a few centimetres. What is also interesting about this circle is the fact that we discovered it ourselves - our chairman Petr spotted it from a car ! The circle was completely untouched.
